4. Samsung Gear Fit2 Smartwatch
The second product by Samsung that we chose to review by Samsung is the Samsung Gear Fit2 Smartwatch. This is because of its beautiful futuristic design and wide appeal. Being one of the first smartwatches in the market, it came with a lot of incorporated features. Different from most others in appearance, it has a rectangular curved screen as opposed to the typical smartwatch circular screen and a silicone band.
The rectangular screen has a bright and vibrant AMOLED display that has a resolution of 322ppi and allows for more screen space. The screen is layered with frosted metal and water and sweat-resistant plastic. There are two buttons on the side, one for power and the other for menu navigation. 5. Ticwatch E
To cover all our bases, we have decided to review the Ticwatch E that is an android smartwatch and which also seems incredibly affordable. Ticwatch brought to us by Mobvoi uses the google operating system and is compatible with both IOS and android. It is a design with the basic functionality and execution of a typical smartwatch.
The smartwatch has the best 1.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 287dpi. An optical heart sensor and charging pins can be found at the bottom. It uses the MediaTek dual-core processor with 4GB Ram worth of storage for apps from the play store and listening to music. The system runs smoothly and has both a speaker and a microphone which enables the user to receive calls. The smartwatch also has its app which comes with a more in-depth analysis of your fitness stats. Independent of your phone, Ticwatch E can track your basic vital functions and route taken with its exceptional GPS. Like GPS, the heart rate sensor is just as accurate.
Speaking candidly, this product may only appeal to technology enthusiasts who will be fascinated by all the advanced features this minimalistic looking smartwatch has. It is definitely recommended as its very economical and incorporates most features and executes them perfectly. It is the first on our list that allows for interaction like taking calls so it can be held in high regard.

6. Timex Metropolitan R
The Timex company seems to be an emerging player in the smartwatch market with its smartwatches holding credibility, the particular Timex Metropolitan R is especially worthy of consideration. It seems like the hybrid of the conventional wristwatch and the smartwatch in appearance. The smartwatch altogether weighs 39grams, with the 42mm circular case paired with the 20mm modest leather and silicone strap.
The AMOLED touchscreen display makes for a bright result and it has a water resistance of 30m. The technical system of Timex Metropolitan R is very similar to Huami’s AmazFit series system. A swipe the left of the screen enables viewing of the paces walked, the calories burnt and the distance covered is shown. A swipe downwards reveals the quick-access settings menu. The smartwatch has a good built-in GPS. The app does not only show your heart rate but also heat maps for the activity in question. It also includes the sleep tracking feature and the battery life is incredible.
The Timex metropolitan R may equally appeal and not appeal to people. It is close in execution to the AmazFit smartwatches with the differences being that of layout and watch faces. Essentially, the proportion of the price demand for the brand name is higher than the characteristics of the smartwatch. It is economical and has good battery life but is only good for the fulfillment of basic functions.

7. TicWatch S2
Like the Ticwatch E, the Ticwatch S2 is also by Mobvoi. The S in the name of this model stands for sports so it is more fitness-oriented like some of the others we have reviewed above. It’s a polycarbonate watch that is water-resistant and solid with 22mm straps and a 1.39-inch AMOLED display. There is but one button for interacting with the watch which brings up the main menu.
It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip with 512MB of Ram and functions quite smoothly. It incorporates wireless listening and a Mobvoi app for showing the user data. It is a waterproof smartwatch (up to 5ATM) that has a GPS and heart rate monitor which requires you to be very still while taking a reading. It is comfortable to wear and shares the same system specifications as the Ticwatch E. It runs Wear OS 2.2 with Tichealth and Ticmotion. A unique feature of this smartwatch is its ability to detect swim strokes and set a custom swimming pool length.
This smartwatch seems more suitable for very outdoorsy people. It is an update of the Ticwatch E and it has been made in a way as to offer robust resistance against the elements while sharing most of its features with its predecessor. So if you are the type to go on adventures like hiking or swimming in a body of water or mountain climbing, then this just might be the smartwatch for you.
